一般过去时的用法:用于描述过去发生的动作或状态。

He watched TV at home last night.
规则变化中:一般情况在词尾加-ed
miss — missed watch— watched
walk — walked call — called

语法点拨:一般过去时/动词过去式的构成
动词过去式的构成分为规则变化和不规则变化两类。
不规则变化:
have — had
do — did
规则变化类别 构成方法 例词 读音规则
一般情况 加-ed paly—played want—wanted
清辅音后面读/t/;
浊辅音和元音后读/d/;
/t/和/d/后面读/id/。
以e结尾的动词 加-d live—lived use—used
以重读闭音节结尾的动词,末尾只有一个辅音字母 双写这个辅音字母,再加-ed shop—shopped stop—stopped
以辅音字母加y结尾的动词 变y为i,再加-ed study—studied worry—worried
