Unit 7 Where’s my backpack?

一.教学目标( Learning aims )
知识目标:掌握下列单词及句型 :
table , bed, dresser, bookcase, sofa, chair, drawer,plant
Where’s ….? It’ s on /in/under the…
Where are …? They are in/on/under the…
能力目标:1。能用where 句型对物品位置进行提问和回答。
2.能用方位介词in/on/under描述物体的位置。
情感目标: 能自觉摆放好自己的物品,养成整洁干净的好的生活习惯。
二.教学重难点
重点:
1.新单词:table , bed, dresser, bookcase, sofa, chair, drawer,plant
2.用where 句型对物品位置进行提问
3.用方位介词in/on/under描述物体的位置
难点:一般疑问句:Is the /Are they …in/on/underthe…? 及答语。
三.教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up
Sing “Where is Tom?” song(like “Two tigers”) :
Where is Tom? Where is Tom?
It’s in the case. It’s in the case.
Where is Tom? Where is Tom?
It’s on the case. It’s on the case.
Where is Tom? Where is Tom?
It’s under the case. It’s under the case.
Step 2 Show Learning aims
1.After singing the song ,learn the words : Where ,on, under
2.Teacher: “This class ,we will learn to use ‘where’to ask the positions of things and use ‘in,on, under’to describe the positions of things. Now ,Let’s Look at the learning aims.”
3.Show the learning aims.
Step 3. New words learning
Show the students a picture of my room, then show them the things one by one.The students look at the picture and learn the new words(Pay attention to the spelling and pronunciation).
Then let Ss try to remember them quickly.
Teacher“Today will know a boy .His name is Tommy (Learn ‘Tommy’).Now Let’s go to his home.”Show the picture in 1a.L et Ss match the words with the things.
Step 4 Make up dialogues
Show a picture of a ball.Teacher“Tommy likes playing ball.Where is the ball?”
Chang the places of the ball and let Ss practice the dialogue “Where is the ball?It’s on/under/in the box.”
Show the Ss a picture and let Ss make up dialogue in pairs.
A: Where’s the …?
B: It’s in/on/under…
Show a picture and let Ss learn:
A:Where are the keys?
B: They’re on the sofa. They’re=They are
Show the Ss a picture and let Ss make up dialogue in pairs.
A: Where are the …?

Tell Ss “Tommy can’t find his things .Let’s help him.”
Let Ss make up dialogue in pairs. (Suppose one is Tommy ,the other one helps him.)

Step 5 Listening 1b
Let Ss listen to the tape and finish 1b.
Let Ss again and fill in the blanks, (学案)
Let Ss practice the dialogue in a group of four, then act it out .
Step 6 Make up dialogues
Let Ss practice in pairs using the things they have.

Step 7 Guessing game

Tell Ss“Sally helped Tommy with the housework, now Tommy can’t find his things again. Let’s listen what he can’t find. ”Let Ss listen and finish 2a.
Let Ss listen again and finish 2b.
Listen to the tape the third time and fill in the blanks.(学案)
Step 9 Find the differences
Show two pictures and let Ss find the differences。

教学反思:
这节课主要是谈论物体的位置,这个话题与学生的生活密切相关。因此在设计本课的活动时,我充分利用学生感兴趣的图片和周围的实物进行练习,学生的积极性非常的高,教学效果也很好。本节课中我注重运用情景教学,学完单词以后,设置情景:今天,我们将认识一个小男孩,他的名字叫Tommy,让我们去他家里去看一下。他是一个粗心的男孩,他的东西到处是。然后让同学把1a中的东西从图片中找出来,巩固所学的单词。在练习对话时又设置情景:Tommy 找不到东西了,让我们来帮他找一下。情景的创设,激发了学生说的愿望,学生通过一系列活动,巩固了所学的知识,这是我对本节课较满意的几方面。
虽然课前做了充分的准备,但通过上课我发现有以下不足:
1、在练习Where’s your …? Where are your…?时,教师的示范不到位,导致学生有的说成Where’s the /my…?
2、学案中的听力对话填空是直接引用的听力材料,我认为这部分如果能改成让学生描述Tommy的房间的小短文,效果会更好一些。
3.2b听力之前,最好和学生把图中的位置描述一下,这样可降低这部分听力的难度。
4.课后小结最好让学生来完成,这样可了解学生到底学会了多少知识。
