Step 1: Warm up.
1.Greetings.
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
What’s your name Nice to meet you. How are you
Do you like apples/green/blue
Do you like rabbits/ monkeys/dogs
2. Sing a song.
At the zoo
Step 2 : Presentation.
1.Warm up.
T: Boys and girls , you all like the animals.
I know you have a lot of animal friends. Today the zoo is very noisy. All the animals are gather together. Listen! What happened
Ss：Listen to the music.
T：Do you know Yes！They are having a sports meeting!
All the animals are so exciting. Do you want to know them
Listen. The little dog is introducing the animal players.
The first animal is coming . Do you know what is it
Ss：Pig.
T: Yes ! Read after me.
Ss:Read the word.
T: Use the same way to review the words.(monkey elephant giraffe)
Ss: Practice the words.
T: Ok ,we know the pig, the monkey, the elephant and the giraffe are the players. Can you find the other players in the picture？
Ss: Yes.
3.New lesson.
1) T: Ok, Boys and girls! Let’s begin the competition ! Are you ready
Ss: Yes .
T: Round one.
Look, there are a lot of food and drinks here. If someone can eat all the food in one minute, it will be the winner!! Can you guess who is it
Ss: Pig.
T: Good job! It’s pig . And do you know why
Ss: It is …
T: Because it is fat. Fat fat. Ask students practice it.
Look at that pig. It’s fat.
Ss: Practice it.
T: Round 2,3,4.Use the same way to teach the word :thin, strong, tall.
Ok ,boys and girls. These four animals are the winners! Congratulations for them ! Clap your hands together!
2)Ok, boys and girls , are you happy Now, it’s your turn.
Let’s play a game . Who can get the card for me
Ask students to get it . The first short girl cannot get it. But the tall boy can get the card.
Teach the word: short.
Look at that girl. She is short.
Students practice it .
