《I am a star》绘本阅读教案
教学目标:
能够形成“见词就读”的阅读习惯，并初步掌握生词。
能够充分理解绘本全文并能简单复述课文。
能够养成记英语笔记的习惯，爱上英语课外阅读。
能够对星球、对天文产生兴趣，继而有深入探究科学的欲望。
教学重、难点：
让学生习惯用英语来思维和表达，逐步达成英语交流的目的。
让学生克服胆怯心理，能自信地读出生词。

Warming-up
T: Wow, you look so surprised about the video. What is the video about, English or Science
T: Yes, today I am your new Science teacher, but I speak English. This class, Please try to read out new words and you can get these presents. OK
T: Let’s try from my English name. Who can read it
Guess and say
Look this is our Science book. It is a picture book. That means it have a lot of pictures and some words. Do you like reading picture books
Look at the front cover. What can you see
There is only one book. So let’s look at the computer.
S: I can see many stars.
T: There are a lot of stars in the sky.
S: I can see a boy.

T: The second people ,what does he do
‘Illustrated’ means he draws the pictures of the book. He’s an illustrator. (板书)

S: At night.

T：What is a star Do you know How can we see stars clearly
T: Don’t worry. The book will tell us. Let’s read it together.

To study stars, people divide the stars into groups. Just like you are sitting in different groups. It is called constellations.（板书）

We can just live on the earth. Love our earth and protect it.
T: Is there really only one earth in the universe

The study of stars is called astronomy.[as-TRON-o-mee]
Read after the book.
T: Do you want to see a famous astronomer in American
Nataly believes that there must be another earth for us to live on. Do you believe This task is for you to explore.
To make the dream come true, we should study hard especially English. And learn more about science.
