1. Look and guess
T: Just now we talked about our National Day holiday. Mike and Liu Tao are talking about their holiday, too. Look at the pictures. Where did they go for the holiday Just guess.(看图,教师引导)
【设计意图】读前预测让学生进行合理想象,有助于发展学生的思维和想象能力,激发学生的好奇心,诱发学生想进一步了解文章内容的欲望。

2. Watch and answer
T: Are you right Next , let’s watch the cartoon and find where exactly they went .(播放动画,记得去掉字幕)
T:From the cartoon,We know where they went.

T: Where did Liu Tao go Let’s ask : Where did you go,Liu Tao (一手指黑板上句型,另一手示意Mike组齐问)

同法处理Mike 去了农场。

【设计意图】学生带着问题听故事并选择答案,整体感知课文。学生带着问题听的过程中对自己预测进行检验,在听的过程中提高整体感知语篇的能力。
3. Read and circle
T: Now we are clear that Liu Tao went to Shanghai and Mike went to a farm near Star Lake. But how was their holiday Was it fun What did they do there Let’s read the whole story and circle the things they did.(播放轻音乐,注意控制时间,音乐停,学生停)

4.Listen and repeat
T: Do you think their holiday is fun Now let’s read aloud the story with fun. First, please listen and repeat. Pay attention to your pronunciation and intonation. After that we’ll have a challenge to read some difficult sentences.
5. T:Good job.Here is a challenge .
T:Work in pairs.Try to read the different sentences.Here are 5 fish,you can choose one.
T: Here Miss Tang will give you some tips.
T:the first one fish ,the second one is fish.if you can do these,You can get four fish.
