第一课时(story time)教案设计
教学目标:
初步了解story time 课文大意并且能正确朗读课文。
能用What makes the ... dirty 来进行询问环境破坏的原因。
能听懂,会说,会读:messy and dirty, dead,factory以及复数factories,move...away from ..., put rubbish in the bin, plant more trees 等词组。
能对当前的环境问题有危机意识,并且能提出一些保护环境的措施。
教学重点:
初步了解课文大意。

承上,出示一些常熟的一些风景照片。
T:Do you like our city?
S:Yes, we do.
T:Why?
Ss:Because it’s beautiful and clean.
T:Yes,the air and the river are clean.
新授air,river
PPT出示Su Yang上课的图片,放大黑板上的四副照片。
T:Look at Su Yang’s City Is it clean
Ss: No.
T: It’s dirty and messy.
新授dirty and messy
T:What’s wrong with Su Yang’s city
PPT 依次出示四幅图,学生尝试描述:
Ss:The air is dirty./ The streets are dirty and messy./ The river is diry./ The fish are dead.
教师贴板书
3、T: The environment is too bad. What makes the city dirty and messy Let’s watch the flash and find the answer.
教师播放ppt,学生寻找污染的原因。
S1:Smoke from cars makes the air dirty.
S2: Smoke from the factories makes the air dirty.
S3: Rubbish makes the streets dirty and messy.
S4: Rubbish makes the river dirty.
教师并板书。
4、Discuss
利用书本后面的问答练习,让学生两人一组进行一问一答。

Let’s continue our flash and find out the measure.
教师播放剩下的flash 动画,学生看了动画,完成书本后面的填空题。
Chest out the answer. 并且齐读这些句子。
T:What else can we do to make the city clean? PPT出示几个提示,引导学生根据自身的实际情况,来提出自己的想法。

Step 3 After reading
PPT呈现一些中国环境污染的图片和文字,让学生再一次切身感受到环境污染的严重性和危机性,教师朗读配图的文字。
Discuss in groups
PPT提供一些topic:keep our bedroom clean,keep our park clean,keep our classroom clean。让学生自由选择,同桌之间讨论,设计海报。如下:
学生完成后,一起交流。
