教学目标
知识目标
能初步感知并理解故事,能够体会故事中主要人物的不同情感,用不同的语气朗读并表演故事。
能够简单地听、说、读单词及词组:sign, smell, at a shopping centre, be careful, mean, floor, around, take…into…, in a restaurant
能听懂、会说、会读:What does it mean It means ……./ No eating or drinking./ No littering./ No parking./ No smoking./ Danger!/ Wet floor.
(4)能听懂、会说、会读“Public signs”。
技能目标
(1) 能借助提示,完整的复述本课对话
(2) 通过本课时的学习,让学生能够看懂一些常见的公共标识,并能用英语进行询问极其描述。
情感目标
(1)根据标志的意思,能够介绍、询问、给人以忠告和建议。
(2)通过学习公共标志常识,加强社会公德教育,提高学生自身的文明素养。

Step 1. Warming up
Know about me
T: I’m your English teacher today.Do you want to know something about me
Name: John
From: Li shui
Hobbies:Reading and watching films
Good habits: Don’t smoke, Don’t litter
2. Know about you
I want to know more about you.Here are some sentences about you.If it’s right,you can say “Yeah,yeah,yeah”.If it’s wrong ,you can say“No,no,no”.
Your school is beautiful!
There is a computer room in your school.
There is a juice shop in your school.
There are 50 students in your class.
You can’t eat or drink in the library.
You can run fast in the classroom.
Your English teacher is a man.
You like doing shopping.
Step 2. Presentation
T: Where do you go shopping Show the new words: shopping centre
T:Hong yue cheng(虹悦城) is a shopping centre. Enjoy some pictures.
What shops can you see in Hong yue cheng?
Get the Ss to say: book shop, toy shop,clothes shop…
Then learn “restaurant”.
Ss: Yes.
