Play a VCR of CNN news

Activity 1 Ss share their own answers with the whole class
Step2: fast reading
Question:What is the Internet What is the WWW Who invented it
Activity2:Ss answer the questions individually
Step3 Instruction
Question: What sentence pattern can you draw from the the answers
Instruction: Sentence pattern “A is B” can help students to guess the meanings or terms when reading.
Step4 Read the passage again and do True or False
Activity3: Ss discuss with their partners and share with the class
