单元目标与课时目标分析 从本课开始，教师除了让学生能够“四会”即听说读写句型外，句子让学生练习抄写。这样，才能使学生尽快实现从汉语拼音书写过渡到英文句子书写的转变。
学情分析 二年级是小学生学习英语的基础阶段，这一阶段的重要任务在于激发并保持学生学习英语的兴趣。因此，在设计课堂教学活动时一定要根据学生的情况，采用灵活多样的教学方法来吸引学生的注意。
教学目标 1.知识目标：1. Enable the Ss to use the sentence patterns freely in real life: Today we have two new students./I’m from ….2. Enable Ss to understand and speak the characters’ names and the countries: Tom, Takuya, Yuan Yuan, Joker, England, Japan, Australia.3. Make sure students can listen, speak, read and write the new sentence patterns: I’m Helen./I’m in Class1.2.能力目标 ：1. To develop the students’abilities of speaking and listening.2. To train the students’ ability of working in groups.3.情感目标 ： 1. To improve their culture feelings about other countries by learning the flags. 2. To develop the students’interest in English.

教学重点 1. Make sure Ss can not only use the sentence pattern “I’m Helen./I’m in Class1.”freely, but also write them correctly.2. To train Ss express the countries correctly by using the pattern “ I’m from ….”

教学评价 集体评价、个别评价、小组评价。
教 法 创设情境法、演示法、示范法、游戏法，任务型教学法。

Warming up 1.唱歌：Nice to meet you.2.Revision Free talk. 1.边唱边做动作.2.师生自由交谈. 以上两个活动既可以营造学习英语的气氛，调动学生学习英语的积极性。又可以复习巩固“Nice to see you” 二年级的学生，由于年龄小，又加上生性活泼好动，喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏、竞赛、画画特别感兴趣。
Presentation a Learn to say1.出示人物卡片介绍人物：Tom Tokuya.yuan yuan及所在班级。2. 指导角色扮演。3. 播放录音4．利用新同学示范：This is my new friend. Where are you from I’m from…… 1、认识学说本课人物及所在班级2、Let’s play:Guess.Are you……？3. 佩带yuan yuan China走上台，自我介绍。 通过创设一种真实的语言环境,让学生领悟句子的真正含义. 努力营造玩中学、学中玩的教学情境。课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主，鼓励学生开口说英语，让他们尝试成功的喜悦。
Practice 1.兴趣活动2．用人名自编对话。 1、分组表演2、评选优胜 培养学生静听的好习惯，通过模仿磁带培养学生良好的语音语调。
Production Let’s act分层次操练组织小组演练、展示评价指导学说chant 1、练习2、小组排演展示听歌曲学唱3.听音跟读 chant4．分组练习表演 新课标倡导“探究自主合作”的学习，从以上活动中体现培养学生合作能力形成竞争意识，激发兴趣和提高语言运用能力。
