Teaching content: Let’s learn. Let’s do.
Teaching aims: Pupils are able to understand and recognize the six new words. Head, ear, nose, face, mouth.
Teaching emphasis: To master the six new words.
Teaching difficulty: 1.Show the body parts for others.
2. The pronunciation of mouth and nose.

Step 1, Warm-up.
1. Sing the song “Hello”.
2. Free talk.
Step 2, Presentation.
1.T takes out a picture of animal’s head and says: Good morning. I am Mr Rabbit. Look at me. This is my head. (Point to the head.) And repeat the word of head. But what is missing (Let Ss answer.)
2.借助动作和表情,比如,点点头、眨眨眼、摸摸鼻等,学习单词的听说。
注意: eye, face 两个单词的元音因素容易发音不到位,教师可鼓励学生张大口型,相
互检查。 mouth 一词的尾音发音较难,教师可适当提醒学生,注意口型。帮助学生形象记忆eye, e e 比作眼睛,y比作鼻子。
3. T puts the eye, ear, nose, mouth on Mr Rabbit’s head.
4. T shows the cards. Learn the new words: head, eye, face, ear, nose and mouth.
5. Listen to the tape and read together.
Step 3, Practice.
1. T puts a picture of Mike on the blackboard. S points to the body parts and T writes the words on the blackboard. ( Review the words.)
2. Learn “Let’s do”.
3. Listen to the tape and read together. T does the actions and lead Ss to know “touch”.
4. Listen and number.
5. Ss read the phrases and do the actions.
6. Do the exercises.
7. Match the words and pictures in group.
8. Listen and draw in group.(拓展 long, short, big, small.)
9. Show your pictures.

Read the words together and touch the body parts.
