教材分析:
本课为PEP教材小学英语三年级上册Unit4 We love animals Part C部分。本课在重现了本单元重点词汇dog, duck, pig的同时增加了两个新词:rabbit, carrot和两个重点句子:I have a carrot. Follow me. 目的是通过一个较为有意义的语篇,增加学生语言的输入以及训练学生逐步适应文本阅读。
本课我设计了一些游戏,活动和表演,采取师生,生生互动的形式,让学生在轻松愉快的情境中表达语言,感受语言,理解语言,从而习得语言。
学情分析:
本课教学对象是三年级的学生,他们正属于活泼好学的时期,因此,本节课我为学生创设了一个符合学生实际的语言教学情境,致力于以学生为主角,通过教师的指引,让他们在游戏,活动和表演中动一动,说一说,演一演,从而激发了他们的学习兴趣和积极性,并通过自己的感知,体验与实践,让他们真正体会到英语学习的乐趣并有所收获。
教学目标:
1.能听,说,认读单词: dog, duck, pig, rabbit, carrot.
2.掌握句型“I have a …. Follow me.”
3.能读懂Story time部分的故事,并了解故事中的主要的知识点。

2.在任务中,促使学生积极运用所学英语知识进行表达与交流,并能在遇到问题时主动向人请教。

Teaching procedure:
Step1. Warm-up
Sing a song “Old MacDonald”
Show the picture of “Old MacDonald’s farm” and ask students what animals you can see.
Step2. Presentation
Teach the words: dog , duck, pig, rabbit.
(1) Have students listen to the sounds and guess the animals. Present the words: dog , duck, pig, rabbit. Have students read the words.
(2) Have students welcome the animal friends. Students say “Hello” to the animal friends.
(Hello, dog! Hello, duck! Hello, pig! Hello, rabbit!)
(3) Chant and do actions.
(dog, dog ,hello dog!……)
(4) Have a match. Teacher says the name of the animals, students do actions as fast as they can.
2. Teach the sentence “I have a …”.
(1) Show the sentences “I have a carrot/some flowers/some bread/a ball.”.
T: The animal friends bring some gifts for you. Let’s see what gifts they bring.
Have students read the sentences“I have a carrot/some flowers/some bread/a ball.”
(2) Students learn to say the sentence“I have a …”
T:Do you like the gifts that the animal friends bring
S: Yes.
T: Do you prepare some gifts for the animal friends
S: Yes.
T: Show me your gifts and tell me what gift you have.
(3) Game: Find the gifts.
Teacher hides the gifts in the classroom and students find the gifts. Teacher asks the students what gifts they have.
Teach the sentence “Follow me”.
Perceiving the meaning of the sentence“Follow me”.

Follow the teacher.
Teacher greets some students and ask them to follow her.
T: Hello, what’s your name
S1: My name is …
T: Can you follow me
S1: Yes.
T: Hello, what’s your name

Have a student act the teacher and ask her/his classmates to follow her/him.
Present the story
Have students see the cartoon.
Step3. Practice
Have students read the story and do some exercises.
Step4. Consolidation
Have students act the story.
Have students talk about what they have learnt from the story.

教学反思:
本课开始通过唱英文歌导入,既让学生了解了一些有关动物的单词,又消除了学生的紧张感,然后教师以各种游戏和比赛的形式传授并指导学生练习本课的重点词、句。在理解故事内容上,教师先让学生通过看卡通片了解故事大意,然后呈现一些阅读理解题,通过请学生朗读故事内容,使学生加深了对故事内容的理解,从而顺利完成阅读题。又通过表演故事为学生提供了一个展示自己的平台,培养了学生的口头表达能力和表演能力。整节课学生们积极主动地参与其中,真正达到了“玩中学,学中乐,乐中用”的境界。
