This lesson will cover “let’s chant”
Objectives *understand, say and recognize the words: puzzle, plane, train, scooter *understand the meaning of the chant “Here’s my puzzle.” And chant it rhythmically. Language focus: Words: puzzle, plane, train, scooter Expression: Here’s my…
Procedures:
Activity 1: song “ I have a new pencil” The teacher shows the children a bag and asks them to guess what’s in it? The teacher takes out a pencil when the children guess pencil The children show their pencils and sing the song “ I have a new pencil”
Activity 2: The children take out all the toys they brought from home and put them on the desk. The teacher says the words “puzzle, plane, doll, train, scooter” randomly. The children raise and show their toys. The teacher shows the children a toy car and says “Here’s my car.” The children follow the example and show their toys to each other by saying “Here’s my…”
Activity 3: let’s chant The children listen to the chant and raise the corresponding toys or pictures at the same time Listen to the tape again Chant after the recorder Chant the rhyme together, then group by group, finally one by one.
Activity 4: Recognize the new words The teacher puts the chant and some pictures of the new words on the blackboard. Ask the children to read the chant then find out and point at the words: puzzle, plane, doll, train, and scooter one by one. Stick the proper pictures besides the words
Activity 5: End the class Give a comment on how the children have done in this lesson Remind the children to chant the rhyme to their parents and friends Encourage the children to create a new chant by using the words about stationery.

This lesson will cover let’s make, let’s play in the textbook and Ex. 2 in the activity book.
Objectives *Understand and follow the instructions to make a puzzle *Understand and say the word “skip rope” *Describe one of their favorite toys with the structure “I have a… It’s … I like my…” Language focus: *I have a … *It’s … *I like my …

Activity 1: chant the rhyme and sing the song Chant the rhyme together Ask some children to chant the rhyme they are asked to create at the end of last lesson. Then praise them for their creativity.
Activity 2: Let’s play Sing the song “I have a puzzle” “I have a puzzle. It’s red and green. It’s new. I like my puzzle.” The teacher sticks four pictures on the blackboard to support the children when they describe the puzzles sentence by sentence. The children show their own toys and introduce them to their classmates using the sentence structures above.
Activity 3: Ex.2 in activity book The children report their answers and check them by listening to the tape and repeat the sentences one by one

This lesson will cover story time and Ex. 1 in activity book
Objectives: *understand and dramatize the story “Do you have a tail?” *understand the structure “Do you have a…? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.” Language focus: Words: cap, watch Structures: I have a … Do you have a …? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
Procedures:
Activity 1: chant the rhyme Chant the rhyme Chant the rhyme they create by themselves
Activity 2: Ex.1 Teacher gives instructions and models on how to do this exercise
Activity 3: song “I have a new puzzle” Sing the song with actions together
Activity 4: Story time Introduce the story by saying “Andy and David are good friends. Sometimes they share things with each other, but sometimes they quarrel. Now here’s a story of their quarreling. Listen to the story Listen again?????????????????????????????????????????
Read after the tape Telling or dramatizing the story in pairs. Then ask some pairs to give a performance.
Activity 5: End the class Guide the children to summarize what they’ve learnt in this lesson. Remind the children to tell their parents the story

This lesson will cover let’s sing and let’s try, Ex. 3
Objectives: *Sing the song “Do you have …?” after the tape or teacher and do some corresponding actions along with it. *Investigate the number of each toy that the children have in a group of five by using the structure “Do you have a…?” Language focus: Words:? scooter, plane, car, train, skipping role, doll Structure: Do you have a…? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
Procedures:
Activity 1: Children dramatize the story for warming up the revision
Activity 2: Ex. 3 Listen and do the exercise Check the answer
Activity 3: sing the song “Do you have…?” Listen to the song and present the meaning of little by showing the children a little plane and a little car. Sing along with the tape for the second time Sing together then individually with actions
Activity 4: End the class Give children time to share their feeling and what they’ve achieved in this lesson. Encourage the children to sing the English song they learnt in this lesson to their parents or friends.

This lesson will cover Andy’s box, Ex. 4 and Ex. 5
