数词解析+练习
数词--表示数目多少或顺序先后的词。数词一般分为基数词和序数词。
基数词--表示数目多少的词。
基数词的表示方法
（1）1-12的基数词：one,two,three,four,five,six,seven,eight,nine,ten,eleven,twelve
(2)13-19的基数词由3-9的基数词+后缀teen构成(个别词拼写有变化）：
thirteen,fourteen,fifteen,sixteen,seventeen,eighteen,nineteen
(3)20-90等十位数均由2-9的基数词+后缀ty 构成（个别词拼写有变化）：
twenty,thirty,forty,fifty,sixty,seventy,eighty,ninety
(4)21-29由表示20的基数词+表示1-9的基数词构成，中间须有连字符“-”:
twenty-one,twenty-two,twenty-three..........twenty-nine
其他的十位数照此类推：
thirty-one,forty-two,fifty-three,sixty-four,seventy-five,eighty-six,ninety-seven
百位数由表示1-9的基数词+hundred构成，若包含十位数及个位数，中间用and连接，and可省略；但若只包含个位数，十位为0，and则不能省略：
a(one) hundred two hundred three hundred and seven
four hundred (and) twenty-five
千位数由表示1-9的基数词+thousand构成，其后的百，十，个位数构成方法同前：a(one) thousand two thousand
four thousand five hundred a(one) thousand one hundred (and) forty-nine
英语中没有”万“这个单位，一万 要用ten thousand 表示
a (one) hundred thousand 十万
million 百万 two million four million three hundred thousand
基数词的功用：
基数词可在句中作主语，表语，宾语，定语，同位语和状语等：
The two happily opened the box.
I need three altogether.
There are fifty students in our class.
They three tried to finish the task before sunset.
基数词也可以表顺序。将基数词放在它所修饰的名词之后即可，不需要加定冠词： the first lesson ----- lesson one
the fifth page----page five
个别基数词的特别用法：
hundred,thousand,million的复数形式+of 表示不确定数目：
hundreds and hundreds of times
Thousands of dollars
表示数量的dozens和scores的用法和hundreds,thousands相似：
I have told you dozens of times.
序数词--表示顺序先后的词。
序数词的表示方法：
1-19的序数词，除了first,second,third是特殊形式外，其余大多由基数词+th构成：first,second,third,fourth,fifth,sixth,seventh...,twelfth,thirteenth...nineteenth
十位数的序数词的构成方法是：词尾的y变为i，然后加后缀eth。
twentieth,fortieth, ...ninetieth
十位数的序数词包含1-9的个位数时，十位数用基数词，个位数用序数词，中间需要有连字符“-”“： twenty-first, eighty-seventh
百千万等的序数词由hundred,thousand等加th,前面加有关的基数词：
one hundredth ten thousandth
多位数序数词的后位数如包含1-9时，后位数用序数词，前位数用基数词，中间出现0时，要用and连接：two hundred and first
序数词的功用：在句中可用作主语，表语，宾语，定语，同位语或状语。

*序数词作定语，通常前面要加定冠词the；但是如果序数词前出现不定冠词
a或an时，则表示“再，又”。

the sixth (6th) century the eighteenth (18th ) century= the 1700’s 18世纪
年代的表示：
in the 1930’s =in the thirties of the twentieth century=in the nineteen thirties
表示某年代的早期/中期/晚期：在the后年代词前加early/mid-/late
In the mid-1950’s 在20世纪50年代中期
具体的年月日表示方法：
年份: 1949 nineteen hundred and forty nine 或nineteen forty nine
月份：in July In April
日期：the+序数词
10月1日 October 1 (读作October first 或 the first of October)
***表示不确切不具体的时间，用介词in；表示具体的确切的某一天用介词on。
