Description of pupils :Primary Grade 1, 30 pupils in the class
Time duration :40 minutes
Lesson objectives :By the end of the lesson ,pupils should be able to:
speak out the words such as book,ruler,pencil and school,morning,afternoon
introduce their own pencil,book,and ruler to classmates by saying structure what they learned “Show me your ”
say hello to their teachers and classmates
greet to others using the newly learned sentence structure “Good morning”,”Good afternoon” and “Good evening”
Main structure :Show me your…;Good…
Main vocabulary :book,ruler,pencil,school,morning,afternoon
Learning strategies :communicative learning
Learning outcome :show others what objects in their pencil box and greet to each others
Teaching aids :video,pictures,pencilbox,flash card
Homework assignments:draw pictures about their pencil,book and ruler and match them with the words and greet to others
Teaching procedures:
warming-up(3 minutes)
listen a chant and sing the chant following the video
leading-in(3minutes)
present picture about book,pencil and ruler by using beautiful pictures and pupils will show their own pencilbox
presentation(8minutes)
present some objects such as pencil,book,ruler to the pupils and let them do the game “listen and show ” by using “show me your …”
then do another game “high and low voice” to learn the new words then write them on the blackboard
Practice(10 minnutes)
read the words one by one
then divide all the pupils into several groups and read them by competing with other groups
do a game “greet and show” by using sentence patterns “good morning and show me your…”
consolidation(6 minutes)
listen to the video and then say loudly to all the class what have heard from the video
then work in pairs to greet to each other and show their pencilbox,one ask,one answer and then performance at the front of classroom
extension(7 minutes)
listen and sing a song “good moring, good afternoon”
draw some objects like pencil,book and ruler and then match them with words
7.assign homework(3 minutes)
