一般疑问句
一、概念：用提问的方式来询问事物或确定某种情况是否属实，要求对方给予肯定或否定回答，读时一般用升调。
二、构成：
be动词（am/is/are)/助动词／情态动词＋主语＋其他成分
肯定回答→Yes,主语＋be/助动词／情态动词
否定回答→No,主语＋be/助动词／情态动词＋not 如：
－Is he Jack
－Yes, he is./No, he isn't.
－Do you have an eraser
－Yes, I do./No, I don't.
－Can I have some ice-cream
－Yes, you can./No, you can't.
＊作否定回答时，not一般与前面的单词构成缩略词。
特殊疑问句
一、概念：由疑问词或疑问词组开头，对句子中的某一部分提出疑问，并要求对方作出具体回答，读时句末用降调。常见的疑问词或疑问词组有what, who, where,when, why, how, how much, how old等。
二、用法：
1.(1)what意为“什么”，用于询问具体信息。如：
What color is it
What's her favorite subject
（2)what用于征求对方意见或提出建议。如：
The yellow pencil is Helen's. What about the blue one
What about going out with me
2.who用于询问人的身份或姓名。如：
Who's that boy
3.where用于询问地点。如：
Where's my pen
4.when用于询问时间。如：
When's your birthday
5.why用于询问原因。如：
Why do you like this movie
6.(1)how表示“如何；怎样”，how about可用于提出建议。如：How is your job
－Let's think about the food for dinner, Jim.
－How about burgers and some fruit
（2)How+ be+ sb. 某人（身体）好吗？ How are you
7.how old询问年龄。如：How old are you
8.how much询问价格。如：How much is that yellow sweater
＊在特殊疑问句中，疑问词与后面的be动词常用缩略形式。
＊回答时不能用yes或no开头，需根据所提的问题作出具体回答。
