必修2 Module 2 No Drugs Reading and Vocabulary教案
本节课为一节阅读理解课,侧重于培养学生用英语获取信息,处理信息,分析问题和解决问题的能力,同时培养学生自我完成任务的能力和策略。
一.教材内容分析
本模块以“No drugs” 为主题,阅读文章由两篇短文组成,第一篇短文介绍了一位名叫Adam Rouse的19岁男孩,染上毒瘾,犯罪以及最后成功戒毒的经历;第二篇短文并介绍了不同类型的毒品,以及吸毒引起的相关疾病。通过阅读材料的学习,使学生对drugs有所了解,并且通过此话题,使学生更加深刻地认识到drugs对人体和社会造成的危害,以及可能引起的一些社会性问题,从而鼓励学生远离毒品。养成良好的生活习惯,关爱社会、关爱他人,并通过所学的知识,运用恰当的方式规劝他人远离毒品。
二.学情分析
教学对象是高一中等层次的学生,他们的英语基础不太扎实,听说读写能力都有待得到很大的提升,尤其是对于高中英语重中之重的阅读能力更是有待取得更大的突破。同时高中英语学习,较之初中的学习内容,存在衔接上的跨度。因此,本节课采用了多种活动形式,尽量调动学生学习的兴趣,引导学生进行扎实有效的学习。
三.教学目标分析
(1)知识与技能目标
A. 掌握一些与课文有关的词汇:
drug addict, be addicted to, break into, drug dealer, heart rate, take one’s advice,
B. 技能
B1: To learn three reading skills
B2: The students learn to retell the article 1 by using the key words and phrases.
B3: Enable the students to realize the harm of taking drugs and how to stay away from drugs.
(2)过程与方法( individual work ; pair work; discussion )
A. 培养学生筛选局部和整体信息的能力和独立阅读能力,通过自主学习和协作学习,获取信息和处理信息的能力。
B.培养学生质疑意识、分析问题、解决问题、综合问题的能力和创造性思维能力。
( 3 ) 情感态度和价值观目标
A.提高学生自我保护意识,养成良好的生活习惯,远离毒品。
B. 在有趣的话题激励下,师生互动,生生互动,调动学生的学习兴趣,加强教师的亲和力,增进彼此的了解与沟通,充分发挥情感教学的优势。
C. 通过开展小组活动,指导学生积极与人合作,相互学习,相互帮助,培养其团队精神。
四. 教学重点
1. Encourage the students to learn some new words related to drugs: break into inject, addictive, drug dealer, drug addict, powerful, increase, heart rate
2. Train the students’ reading & speaking skills.
3. make the students realize the harm of taking drugs, keep away from drugs and value their lives by role-play.

七. 教学流程
Step 1 Lead-in
1.show a radio about a drug addict and let students guess what’s wrong with him
[设计说明] 通过播放瘾君子毒瘾发作的视频引导学生说出这单元的话题:drug(毒品)
2. ask students how many drugs they know
[设计说明]从刚才播放的视频中引出drug(毒品)这个话题后,紧接着问学生们知道几种毒品,从而引出本单元的重点单词:cannabis、cocaine、crack cocaine
3. then ask students what’s the dangers of taking drugs
[设计说明] 让学生知道毒品的危害后,很自然的导出本单元的话题: 远离毒品(no drugs)
Step 2 Fast reading
Task1(任务1)
Read the two different articles and choose the topic for each article
1、A Drug Addict and His Story
2、Dangerous Activities of Teenagers
3、The Dangers of Using Cocaine
[设计目的和依据] 通过快速扫读培养学生如何准确的在最短的时间里寻找最佳标题的能力,同时为下一个任务做准备。
Task2(任务2)
Read parts 1—6 and decide which article they belong to(属于):

[设计目的和依据] 运用上一环节中所学的阅读技能快速的对两篇文章进行分类练习,达到学以致用的目的,同时为下一步的精读任务做铺垫。
Step 3 Careful reading
Task1(任务1)
Read the two articles and choose the best answer.

(1)这四个练习让学生进一步抓住文章的细节,从而为高考阅读理解题中的细节题、推理判断题和猜词测意题打下坚实的基础(高考阅读必考题型)。
(2)让学生对文章的脉络有更深的理解,为后面的角色扮演做铺垫。
Task2(任务2)
Read the two articles again and then fill in the blanks

(1)设空处以高考语法填空题的形式加深了学生对本节课重点单词、词组和语法点的正确应用,完全与高考考纲接轨,。
(2)再次阅读文章加深学生对本篇文章的深层次理解,再一次为后面的分角色扮演奠定了坚实的基础

(3) 同时锻炼了学生归纳总结的能力。

通过这一活动锻炼并鼓励学生大胆地开口说英语,能用本堂课所学的重点词汇及知识进行交流,达到学以致用
Step4 post reading -------role-play(角色扮演)
Suppose you are a reporter, and your partner is someone who has stopped taking drugs for one of the three main reasons (himself/herself, family and society). In the following part, you will interview him or her.
[设计目的及依据] 这是属于教材开发的部分,我认为这一步对于学生来时至关重要,因为
(1),通过这一活动鼓励学生大胆地开口说英语,这样即将本堂课所学的重点词汇及知识学以致用,同时又让学生设身处地的从内心深处意识到了毒品的危害,从而自觉地远离毒品,珍爱生命
(2)训练学生口语的同时无形中又训练了学生的写作能力
(3)培养了学生的小组合作能力,语言组织能力和发散思维能力
Step 5 Summary(总结)
1: we have learned some new words.

3: we have learned about Adam Rouse’ story and the dangers of taking drugs.
4: we have improved the sense of staying away from drugs
Step 6 homework(作业)
1. Remember the new words and expressions
