教学目标:
能够听、说、认读本课时的四个动词短语:get up、go to school、go home、go to bed.
能够理解并在情景中正确运用句型:It’s time to ....
体会养成良好的作息习惯,有益于身体健康。
教学重点:
能在情景中正确使用句型:It’s time to ....并能区分It’s time to ....和It’s time for ....用法上的区别。
教学难点:能够理解并在情景中正确运用句型:It’s time to ....
教学过程:
StepⅠ、Warm up
Greeting
Sing the song《What time is it?》
T: (Show the clock on the board)
Attention please. Look at the blackboard. What can you see What is this
Ss: It’s a clock.
T: What time is it
Ss: It’s 12 o’clock.
T:What time is it (Poke the clock face, talk about the time to review the sentence)
Ss: It’s 1 o’clock./...
T: Let’s sing a song《What time is it?》
Students stand up and sing the song .Do actions.
STEPⅡ、Lead in
Show some numbers on the screen.Invite students to say them in English.Prepare for the time answering.
T: Can you read these numbers
Check the saying.
T: Good job! I will need someone to answer some questions.(Show some clock faces on the screen.talk about the time)
T: What time is it
Ss: It’s six o’clock.
T: What time is it
Ss: It’s six o eight./ It’s six eight.
Students do the pair work. Talk about the time showing on the screen.
E.g. S1: What time is it
S2: It’s nine thirty./six twenty-five/...
StepⅢ、Presentation
Show pictures on the screen. Review the sentences in Part A.
E.g. It’s 8 o’clock. It’s time for English class.
It’s 9:30. It’s time for music class.
It’s 3 o’clock. It’s time for PE class.
Play a game “Magic magic change”
Show the words cards on the blackboard. Review the words and saying first.
E.g. It’s 6 o’clock. It’s time for dinner.
It’s 3 o’clock. It’s time for PE class.
Change the words cards. “dinner→ have dinner, PE class→ have PE class”
Invite students to help the teacher finishing the changes.
T: I need you to help me.
Read the sentences on the boards.
E.g. It” time to have dinner./ It’s time to have PE class./...
Show the pictures on the screen.Learn the new phrases in Part B.
E.g. It’s 6:25. It’s time to get up.
It’s 7:30. It’s time to go to school.
It’s 4 o’clock. It’s time to go home.
It’s 9 o’clock. It’s time to go to bed.
Conclude the difference between “It’s time to ....”and “It’s time for ...”.Show the difference on the screen.
Practice the new sentences. Show some pictures. Students try to describe each picture.
StepⅣ、Practice
Play the game “Rescue the pleasant goat and his friends”.Finish 3 missions.
Mission 1: Read and say
6:20→ six twenty 7:06→seven o six 10:45→ ten forty-five
Mission 2:Look at the pictures and choose (Review the new phrases). Then read together.
Mission 3: Read and choose “for” or “to” to finish the sentences.
Finish the rescue,then make a new friend “Xiao Hui hui”. Show Xiao Hui hui’s timetable. Talk about it.
E.g. It’s 6:30. It’s time to get up./.../ It’s 9 o’clock. It’s time to     go to bed.

Make your own timetable.
