直观教学法
教师利用图片把名词Cow . Hen. Sheep. Horse 展示给学生,跟学生一起学习它们的拼写和读音,这样使英语的学习过程更具有趣味性。
情景交际教学法
根据课本内容,教师利用图片和句型进行对话交流:what are these They are ...... Are these ....... Yes ,they are . No ,they aren’t. 同时还可以挑出自己最喜欢的动物。

Teaching the words in: Let’s learn
教师通过播放cow hen sheep horse 等动物的声音来引出单词。
通过声音和动物的图片教师拿出sheep 的图片问:what this 并自己说:It’s a sheep .通过音标拼读以及升降调带读,然后出示一群羊的图片问:What are these 也许学生会答错,老师纠正:They are sheep.强调sheep 的复数形式和原形一样,要求学生记住。
教师利用课本Let’s Learn的图片和同学一起问答:What are these They are hens/.......
Are these hens/......... Yes ,they are. No they aren’t. 来学习本课时所有单词。

游戏1:火眼金睛
教师以很快的速度向学生们呈现单词卡片学生集中精力看哪位学生是火眼金睛。
游戏2:分角色表演自己编的对话。看哪一组表现的最好
游戏3:通过声音来猜出单词看哪组学生反应最快
【设计意图:根据学生对词汇已经基本掌握的情况设计游戏可以让学生集中注意力,并且可以巩固练习】
Step4:Extension
Group work(Draw and say )
给学生布置一个任务,让学生画出自己心中的农场,然后向同学们以及自己的搭档介绍自己的农场,搭档A可以提问what are these 搭档B可以回答These are....../They are....... 可以用到以前学过的单词如:cat . dog. duck等
如:A:Hello Mike I have a big farm .Do you want to visit
B:Yes ,of course .
A:OK,welcome to my big farm
B:wow It’s so beautiful and what are these
A:they are ducks .do you know what are these
B:Are these hens
A:Yes ,they are .
B:Thank you for inviting me to visit your farm.

【设计意图:通过给学生布置这样画出自己心中农场的任务不仅可以锻炼学生的思维还可以锻炼学生的综合语言能力,请学生上台表演可以锻炼学生的胆量,接受能力强的学生可以进行脱稿,接受能力弱点的学生可以自己带自己写的稿子上讲台,这样可以照顾到学生的个体差异,做到因材施教】
