London
London is a big city.
作为伦敦市的标志以及英国的象征，大本钟巨大而华丽，重13.5吨，四个钟面的面积有两平方米左右。大本钟从1859年就为伦敦城报时，根据格林尼治时间每隔一小时敲响一次，至今将近一个半世纪，尽管这期间大本钟曾两度裂开而重铸。现在大本钟的钟声仍然清晰、动听。自从1859年投入使用后，英国政府每隔五年就要对大本钟实施维护，包括清洗钟体、替换大本钟的报时轮系和运转轮系等。
英国最大的皇家公园。位于伦敦市中心的威斯敏斯特教堂地区，占地360多英亩，原属威斯敏斯特教堂产业。十八世纪前这里是英王的狩鹿场。16世纪，英王亨利八世将之用作王室的公园。查理一世执政期间，海德公园曾向公众开放。1851年，维多利亚女王首次在这里举办伦敦国际博览会。这里现在也是人们举行各种政治集会和其他群众活动的场所，有著名的“演讲者之角”(Speakers’ Corner)。
伦敦塔桥是从英国伦敦泰晤士河口算起的第一座桥（泰晤士河上共建桥15座），也是伦敦的象征，有“伦敦正门”之称。该桥始建于1886年，1894年6月30日对公众开放，将伦敦南北区连接成整体。
从远处观望塔桥，双塔高耸，极为壮丽。桥塔内设楼梯上下，内设博物馆、展览厅、商店、酒吧等。登塔远眺，可尽情欣赏泰晤士河上下游十里风光。假若遇上薄雾锁桥，景观更为一绝，雾锁塔桥是伦敦胜景之一。
