一、教学内容：Fun in the sea
二、教学目标：
学习海底动物angelfish, octopus, swordfish, shark, coral reefs, seahorse。
了解六种海底动物的特征及习性，在语境中理解difficult to keep,
shoot ink, a great sense of smell, famous。
能在小组中通过语言、动作等表演出一种海底动物。
让学生在阅读中学会珍惜海底动物，保护珊瑚，爱护地球。
三、教学准备：
PPT、动物图片、动物特征词条、提前板书课题
四、教学过程：
Step 1 Pre-reading: Funny words
Greetings.
Do you often have a lot of fun in your English class
Funny words.（PPT）
I have some funny words. Do you want to read them

also have a lot of fun from it. But where is the sea
Step 2 While-reading: Fun in the Sea

快读，找答案：Where is the sea
Who went to the Great Barrier Reef
看图回答：Who is Tony How many people are there in his family
听读绘本。（PPT绘本相册）
Do they have fun at the Great Barrier Reef What places did Tony go
How did Tony go to the sea 看图理解go diving
读P6.（on the beach）
What fun did they have on the beach
How did Tony’s parents enjoy the sunshine
读P8-P19.（in the sea）
Circle the sea animals’ name in groups.
Stick the pictures. Read them.
再读P8-P19.（in the sea）
Circle the key words about the sea animals in groups.
Stick the key words about the sea animals. Understand the phrases ‘difficult to keep’,
‘shoot ink’, ‘a great sense of smell’, ‘famous’ while reading.
Step 3 Post-reading: Act the fun
You had a lot of fun at the Great Barrier Reef. Can you act them out Make sure your act
is full of fun.
Act in groups.
Show time.
Step 4 The-end: Thinking from the fun

2. 请学生说：What can we do
Step 5 Homework
1. Listen and read the picture book. Share your fun from the Great Barrier Reef with your parents or friends.
2. Try to know more about the Great Barrier Reef from the Internet or books. Write down your fun from the sea in your own words or pictures.
