Say what we should do to look after the place.
We should allow only 1,000 people to visit it each day.
Lushan National Park is in Jiangxi Province. It is more than 100 kilometres from Nanchang, the capital city of Jiangxi Province.
People go to Lushan National Park to see the tall mountains, lakes and beautiful streams. As it is a national park, much of the area is forest, so there are many animals.
Write a passage called Look after the countryside and yourself. Use the sentences you have written in Activity 6 to help you.
The fish and birds there are not dangerous, but there are some snakes. You must follow some rules if you do not want to get into trouble with snakes. You mustn’t walk in the grass. Keep to the paths instead. That way, you are less likely to meet a snake. You should make a lot of noise while you are walking, so that any snakes are warned you are coming and have
time to escape. Follow the rules and stay safe.
There is another danger in Lushan National Park — people! People are a danger to park because visitors to national parks can sometimes be very careless. To protect the park, we should place a limit on the number of visitors to the park. We should allow only 1,000 people to visit it each day. This would help reduce damage done by large numbers of tourists.
