Analysis of the text book 本单元的主题语境师“人与社会”,涉及的主题语境内容是新旧时代社会和生活等方面的对比及改变。Understanding ideas部分讲述了彩虹书店用创新和改变来化解危机的故事。通过文章学习让学生体会变花给每个人的生活带来的影响;培养自己的创新意识,鼓励自己以积极的心态面对各种社会变化,形成正确的世界观、人生观和价值观。
Analysis of students Students are familiar with all the changes caused by the advances of high technology, especially the great popularity of smart phone in our life. It is likely that students will be interested in the topic of the unit. For the passage to be taught, it is not difficult for students to find the differences and similarities between the old and new bookstore. However, it’s difficult for them to understand why these differences matter and learn to be creative and apply what they’ve learnt into practice.
Teaching aims 1. Compare and tell the differences between life in the past and at present. 2. Get the main idea of the passage. 3. Get the specific information about the old and new Rainbow bookstore. 4. Apply what you have learnt into practice.

The difficult points 1. Find the differences and similarities between the old and new bookstore. 2. Encourage students to be creative and face the changes with positive attitude.
