Preparation:
T’s Bobby Bear mask.
Flashcards for the vocabulary being reviewes.
Objects: book, pen, pencil, eraser, ruler.
Procedures:
structure review: my, his, her.
Choose five students to hold up an objects. T points to S1 and ask: is this his (ruler) ?
T: This is my pen. Elicit the Ss to say: That’s her pen.
Introduce the story:
say, here is a new friend .his name is Bobby Bear. Have the class greet Bobby “Hi,Bobby!”
Talk about the story: P62-63
Ask the questions about the pictures:
Who is at the park?
2/3. who does Bobby bear meet first?
4. Who does Bobby Bear meet next?
5. Who are those people under the tree?
6.Who is Ken?
7. Who is Kate?
8. What does Ken say?
9. Is that Ken’s aunt?
10. Who does Bobby show us?
Story:
Say, we are going to hear what the character said.
Listen, repeat after the tape.
Role play.
Flashcard game:
Use the flashcards for the vocabulary. (See T’s book P137)
homework: P62-63
introduce all the characters on P62,63 to the family, saying, “He/She is ____. He/She is_____ ‘s (father). Her name’s Kate.”

Listen and match: P64
Point to the correct character as you listen to the tape.
Number the picture as you hear the sentences.
Structures review: he/she
Look at the picture on the P64, ask : who is she? Anwer: She’s ____.
Point to the picture: ask: he? Or she? Elicit the Ss to say: Yes. or No.
Touch and say: P64
Point to the picture: read the sentence and point to the each word.
Have the Ss read after me.
Point to on of the pictures and have the Ss say the sentence.

Homework:
P65 write the missing letter at the beginning of each word and color the pictures.

The mask of Ann.
Procedures:
talk together: P66
hold up your family picture.
say your English name in turn.
Have each student introduce the neighboring student to the class, using the structure He’s /She’s (Jane). That’s his /her family.
Put their pictures together. Choose one from them and elicit the student say : That’s my family.
P66 ask , who is holding the picture of his family?
Character’s name: Ken, Ann, Tommy. Say, that picture is of Ken’s family and Ann’s family because Ann is Ken’s sister.
Listen and point: P66
Have the Ss point to the beginning letter of each word as they hear it.
Number the pictures in the order that they hear the words.
Introduce the letter Ww—Zz: P67
Recall the letters we’ve learnt.
find the letters you know on Uncle Booky’s ABC. then write down Aa--Vv on the blackboard.
Learn Ww . ask: can you find the word that begins with w in Uncle Booky’s ABC.
Read “watch”. Have the class say the word aloud.
Repeat the procedures: watermelon, x-ray, zebra. yo-yo.
Homework: P67, P69
Color the letter in different colors.

Find the word beginning with different letter:
E.g. name the three objects in the row( girl, carrots, and apple)
Ask: which word does not begin with letter C?
Elicit the Ss to say “girl and apple” and cross out the pictures of them.
