学习目标
1、知识目标：
a.熟练掌握subway、train、bus、car、bus stop、bus station、boat、ship、plane等交通工具的单词；
b.熟练掌握表示乘坐某种交通工具的英文表达，如take the bus、by bus；
c. 能够掌握how引导的特殊疑问句及其回答：
How do you get to school -----I take the bus. How long does it take -----It takes 20 minutes.
How far is it from your home to school ----It’s 3 kilometers.
2、技能目标：能自由谈论不同的出行方式。
3、情感目标：通过本节课的学习，培养自觉遵守交通法规及礼貌乘坐交通工具的优良品质。
4、学习策略：采用自主学习、合作学习等方式，学习根据自己需要进行有目的的预习，积极主动投入到语言实践中去。
5、文化意识：
了解东西方出行方式的不同以及不同的交通规则，加深对交通知识的了解。
教学重点：
能够使用take the bus, by subway,take the train，ride a bike, walk自由谈论出行方式。
教学难点：
能够熟练掌握由how引导的三个特殊疑问句及其回答。
学情分析：
七年级学生由于年龄还较小，还处于较活泼好动的年龄阶段，对直观形象的事物更感兴趣，会积极参与生动活泼的课堂活动中，对知识有较强的求知欲。学生在经过了一学期的英语学习后，已经具有了一定的英语水平，也积累了一定数量的英语单词，如相关的交通工具单词，为完成这节课的学习任务打下了一定的基础。另外，本单元是有关“transportation”这一话题，贴近学生生活实际，这也更容易唤起学生的学习兴趣。
教学过程：
Step1: Warming up
Task: listen to the sounds of all kinds of transportation and speak out them in English as quickly as you can.
Step2: Lead in
Look at the picture and say the means of transportation to prepare for 1a.

Step3:Master the sentence structure

2.Make a summary:

3.Do the chain game to consolidate the sentence structure.
Step4:Listening
1：Teacher Introduce five foreign students（Bob， Mary ，John，Paul Yang， Lan .Jim）to students. Listen and match the names with the ways to school.

2：Ask students pay attention to the tape script. Listen and repeat the conversation.Try to read it in role.
Step5: Pair work
Show some pictures in the PPT .Ss work in pairs to make up their own conversation.

Step6: Review numbers
Creating situation by Introducing a foreign friend Bob to Ss. He invite two students to speak out their seat number through the WeChat. Elicit the number 13 and 30.Show other numbers in the PPT. Students read them together and try to find out the difference between “teen”and “ty”.
