Some information about the Beatles.
The Beatles formed in England in 1959. Their first record went into the top twenty in 1962. Their third single became their first No. 1 hits.
Then they went on to have 16 more No. 1 hits, most of which were written by one of the members called McCartney. The band split up to pursue solo careers with more or less success.
