It’s one of the biggest holidays in many countries. 这是许多国家重大的节日之一。
one of 结构表示“……其中之一”，后接形容词的最高级形式，再接可数名词的复数，但谓语动词用单数。如：
This tower is the tallest building in China and one of the tallest in the world. 这个塔是中国最高的，也是世界上最高的建筑物之一。
2. The date depends on the moon, but it always in March or April. 复活节不总是每年的同一天。日期要取决于月球，但它总是在三月或四月。
depend on是固定短语，意为“依赖；取决于；随...而定”。depend表示“依靠；依赖；指望”，接宾语时与on或upon连用。其后接带不定式的复合结构，即depend on/ upon sb. to do sth.，意思是“指望某人做某事”。如：
You may depend on it that they will be there in time.你不用怀疑，他们会及时到达那里。
