Albert Einstein was probably the most brilliant scientist of the twentieth century. Born in Ulm, Germany 1879, he didn’t speak until he was three, but then developed a strong interest in Mathematics as a child.
Model answer:
He had the idea for his Theory of Relativity at the age of 16, although he didn’t publish it until 1905, after he had studied Physics in Zurich, Switzerland.
He became a university teacher in 1905, and published the general theory of relativity in 1915. In 1921 he was awarded the Nobel Prize for physics.
When Hitler came to power, Einstein left Germany and went to live and work in the USA. He died in 1955.

Zhu Kezhen was born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang in 1890 and died in 1974. He was one of China’s greatest scientists.
Zhu Kezhen went to the United States to study in 1910. There he got a Doctor’s degree in meteorology from Harvard University and returned to China in 1918.
Zhu Kezhen worked hard to improve China’s research and teaching of meteorology and geography. In 1964, he published Some Characteristic Features of Chinese Climate and Their Effects on Crop Production. This article had a good effect on our country’s agriculture.
Mr. Zhu will always be remembered by the Chinese people because he made great contributions to our country.

Born in Shanghai in 1911, Qian Xuesen left for Beijing with his parents at three. He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1934, after which he went to America for further studies. After returning to China in 1955, he devoted all his life to China’s aerospace industry, playing a significant role in the design and research of rockets and missiles.
