Scientists say that the low-temperature lake is unlikely to be able to support such large living creatures. What do you think of the argument Please list your reason(s).
I don’t agree to the argument. We all know different animals need different surroundings, perhaps the monster of Lake Tianchi is used to the low-temperature water. We must be sceptical about any conclusion until we have solid evidence.

Retell the first sighting of the monster in your own words. Try to make it more believable by adding some imagined details.
A strange creature has been seen in a volcanic lake high up in the Changbai Mountains in Jilin province, northeast China. Some say its head looked like a horse as it jumped out of the water like a seal. Others say it was greenish-black with a round head and 10cm horns or that it was round and black. There have been reports like these since the beginning of the last century and some unclear photos of the “Monster of Lake Tianchi” in the distance have been taken.
Many believe it to be a cousin of the Loch Ness monster in Scotland and that similar creatures live in other lakes around the world. Scientists however say the temperature of Lake Tianchi is too low to support such a large living creature.
