一、教学内容:Unit 3 Weather Part B Let’s talk
二、教学目标:
知识目标:1.能够听、说、认读句型What’s the weather like in… It’s … Is it cold Yes,it is./No,it isn’t.并能够在真实的语境中灵活运用。
2.能够理解对话大意,并能用正确的语音、语调朗读对话。
能力目标:1.能够听、说、认读单词:New York, Toronto, degree.
2.能够听懂How about… It’s 26 degrees.
3.能够分角色朗读对话。
情感目标:1.了解气温描述中的文化差异,及华氏度和摄氏温度的区别。
2.培养学生懂得根据天气变化关心他人身体健康的情感。
三、教学重难点:
重点:能够在情境中灵活运用句型What’s the weather like in… It’s …Is it cold Yes, it is./No, it isn’t. 进行问答。
难点:1.读懂对话,并进行对话表演。
2. degree的正确发音。
四、教学准备:教学课件,四线三格磁条,天气图标,各地城市图片。
五、教学过程:
Step1 Warming up & Revision
1.Greetings
T:Good morning. How are you Nice to meet you. What’s the weather like today
Ss:It’s sunny.(学生连续说三遍)
T:Very good!Today,let’s continue to learn Unit 3 Weather.(揭题)
2. Review the words and sentences.
①师问生答:教师拿出自制的带有天气图标的单词卡片连续不断地问学生。(先教师连续用What’s the weather like today 问,学生齐回答,后教师拿剩下单词卡片再独个问3-4个学生)
②生问师答:You ask me: What’s the weather like today (生齐问,师出示卡片并说这五个单词)If I’m right ,you can clap your hands. If I’m wrong ,you can,t clap your hands.And tell me the right answer,OK
Now,boys and girls, What’s the weather like in Nan kang Please read the chant follow me,and with your actions like this.(教师边拍掌边带读学生)
③Say a chant.
What’s the weather like in Nan kang Rainy,rainy,it’s rainy.
What’s the weather like in Beijing Windy,windy, it’s windy.
What’s the weather like in London Cloudy,cloudy,it’s cloudy.
What’s the weather like in Sydney Sunny,sunny,it’s sunny.
What’s the weather like in Harbin Snowy,snowy,it’s snowy.
Step2 Presentation & Practice
1.教授单词New York和句子What’s the weather like in New York?It’s rainy.
①课件出示美国自由女神像图片,教师提问:Where is it 引导学生回答:It’s New York.教学New York,教师领读操练:Please read it follow me.
②教师提问:Do you like New York Do you want to go to New York 引导学生生问答Yes.以此引出句子: What’s the weather like in New York?课件展示New York的天气情况,学生接着回答It’s rainy.教师板书句子,学生齐读句子。
2.教学句子How about… 和Is it cold Yes,it is./No,it isn’t. It’s 26 degrees.
①接着以上的图片,课件出示San ya图片,教师继续提问:What’s the weather like in San ya?学生回答:It’s sunny.
②课件接着出示句子How about San ya?教师解释How about San ya 和What’s the weather like in San ya?是相通的。The meaning of How about San ya?is What’s the weather like in San ya?
Is it cold Yes,it is./No,it isn’t. It’s 26 degrees(教学单词degree:当出示degrees时,多带读几遍并解释意思). It’s warm.(此时就可板书并带读How about San ya?Is it cold Yes,it is./No,it isn’t. It’s 26 degrees. It’s warm.)
③课件依次出示不同地方的天气图片,如:北京、赣州、广州等。提问:How about Beijing Is it cold 学生依据猜测Yes, it is.或是No, it isn’t.之后出示句子It’s___ degrees. Yes, it’s cold.师生互相操练句子How about…?……

(教师边板书):Very good.Is it cold

3.学习B.Let’s talk
(1)、教师作介绍:Now,look, our new friend Mark and Chen Jie are talking on the phone. What are they talking about Let’s listen.Then answer this two questions: What’s the weather like in New York How about Beijing 。
(2)、Listen and repeat:重放音频每句后暂停,学生逐句跟读。(在播放音频频过程中,教师适当解释打电话用语:This is …)Mark and Chen Jie are talking on the phone.. Do you remember how does Mark introduce himself. Does he say: Chen Jie! This is Mark or Hi! Chen Jie! I am Mark!(课件出示两问题,如果学生不会回答,再给学生听一下。) Yes, Mark says: This is Mark. So when we make a phone call. We don’t use I am… to introduce our self but we use this is ….Ok, I am going to call some of you.(和几个学生模拟打电话)。
(3)、教师设疑:Why does Mark say “That’s cold in Beijing” and Chen Jie says “It’s warm”. 课件出示解疑华氏温度和摄氏温度。
(4)、学生打开书P27,进行跟读磁带,之后全班分小组读、齐读。
(5)、Pair work:小组成员或同桌结对练习对话,然后展示表演。
Step3 Consolidation & Extension
教师导语引入:教师创设与家人朋友一起去旅行的情景,引出Let’s play中的国旗及主要城市。接着课件出示视,教师依次领读国名,并教学国名单词Toronto.
①教师点击播放其中一个,学生跟读句子。
②Pair work:学生之间围绕Let’s play中其他图片进行对话操练,再选派代表上台表演。
3.活动:对话天气。
活动方式:小组成员或同桌运用教师出示的句子,拿出自制标有城市和天气的图片,进行对话天气。
4.温馨提示:关注天气,健康出行!
(课件出示图片,教师做引导,培养学生懂得根据天气变化关心他人健康的情感。)
