rhythm(节奏、韵律)和rhyme(押韵、韵词的应用)属于不同的范畴。
诗歌的音乐性是节奏,在朗诵每一句或每一行诗时,有不同的轻重高低的声音和一定的间歇,即节奏rhythm。有的诗节奏明快,有的诗缓慢抒情。
rhyme是增强诗歌音乐性的重要手段。通过重复元音或辅音达到一定音韵效果。譬如押韵词为word, mockingbird; sing, ring; brass, looking-glass; away, today。
