一、复习旧知

三、讲授新课
【完成教材Grammar Focus-3c的教学任务】
Grammar Focus
Lead students to read the sentences in the box one by one, explain the use of modal verb can.
(1)表示能力,意为“能;会”等。如:
Can you speak English
你会讲英语吗?
(2)表示请求或允许,多用在口语中,意为“可以;能”等。如:
Can I help you
我能帮助你吗?
(3)表示可能。如:
He can be at home now
他现在可能在家。
Teach Activity 3a.
Lead students to read the sample sentence so that they can know how to do this activity.
Then, give students three minutes to write questions and answers with the given words and phrases.
Teach Activity 3b.
Ask students to pay attention to the poster and have a quick look. Lead them to complete the poster with the words in the box. Check the answers then.
Teach Activity 3c.
Ask students to focus on the advertisement. Then ask some questions.
Finally, invite some students to share their work with the whole class.
【注意】
1.swimming的用法
游泳俱乐部 swimming club
动词原形不能作定语,要用v.-ing作定语。
2.show的用法
(1)名词,意为“演出;节目”。 school show
(2)动词,意为“给……看;展示”。
展示某物给某人看 show sb. sth./show sth. to sb.
【语法提要】
or:为并列连词,含有选择意义,常用于在两者或两者以上中选择其一。or意为“或者”时常用于疑问句,意为“也不”时常用于否定句。
例句:Would you like an apple or a banana 你想吃苹果还是香蕉?
【问题探究】根据汉语意思完成句子。
他会唱歌或者跳舞吗?
