Ss can understand that: Animals are our friends, we should protect them.

(1)The new words about animals.
The dialogues.
Teaching Difficulties:
The plural form of the words,especially “sheep”.
The pronunciation of the words.

Warm-up:
(1)Greeting.

(3) let’s sing: Old MacDonald.
Presentation:
Task1:Meeting the animals.
Revive the words: pigs, ducks
T: What’s this S1: It’s a pig/duck.
T: What are these S2: These are pigs/ ducks.
(3)Teach: horse, Ss read,spell the word after T.
T: What are these Ss: These are horses.
Teach: horses.
Use the same way to teach the other words: hens, cows
Teach: sheep
Count: One sheep, two sheep, three sheep...
Ask and answer: What’s this S1: It’s a sheep.
What are these S1: These are sheep.
Practice:
Let’s play a game: Say it loudly.
Ask and answer: What are they These are ....
