I.语言点精讲
1. play 与球类、棋牌类等运动项目搭配,表示“参与运动”或“进行比赛”,运动名称前不加限定词语。
例如:play soccer 踢足球 play cards 打牌
play 与各种乐器搭配,表示“演奏;弹奏;吹奏”,乐器名称前会有定冠词“the” 进行限定。例如:
play the trumpet 吹小号
play the piano 弹钢琴
2. be good with sth. / sb. “善于应付……的;对……有办法”。
例如:The teacher is very good with children.
这位老师对孩子很有一套。
be good at / with
1)be good at 意为“擅长……”,后接名词、代词或v.-ing形式。
I’m good at playing chess. 我擅长下象棋。
2)be good with意为“灵巧的;与……相处得好”。
He is very good with the children. 他与这些孩子处得很好。
3. make friends
表示“交朋友”,其中friends 常用复数,这个短语还常与介词with 连用,make friends with… 表示“与(和)……交朋友”。例如:
I want to make friends with all the new students.
我想和所有新学生交朋友。
4. help (sb.) with …
表示“在某方面给予帮助”,其后直接接名词或名词短语。例如:
