1.能够听、说、读、写六个动词的-ing形式并能在情境
中正确运用:climbing,eating,playing,jumping,drinking,sleeping.
2.掌握句型:Fido is sleeping.They are playing with each other.
3.可以在总结时渗透情感教育,引导学生产生热爱小动物的美好感情。

能掌握新单词,并能用英语表达谁正在做什么。
教学准备:PPT卡片
教学过程:
Step1:
T:(show PPT)review words:(带领学生一边做动作,一边读,活跃气氛)
climb,eat,drink,play,jump,and sleep.
Step2:创设情境,引出新课
(由“woof...”声引出Chen Jie and Fido----Chen Jie’s dog----her dog)
T:Can you guess ---Where are they What do they do What are they doing
S1:yes...(让学生去想象那个场景,自由说说她们能做的事情)
T:(show PPT----展示动物们在公园里正在做的事情)----What are they doing
----Sleep.Sleeping.They are sleeping.
(在每个单词的教读过程中根据学生反应,利用不同方式熟练单词,比如反复跟读模仿、大小声、传声筒......)
Use the same way to learn the other words:climbing,eating,playing,jumping,drinking.
并在黑板板书每个单词的原形,并利用红色粉笔在单词后书写出-ing形式。
T:Look at the picture.Look at these rabbits.Are these rabbits eating
S:No,They’re playing with each other.
利用情境图教学each other的含义。
Step3:practice and consolidation
Read these words together.
Game:What’s missing
Listen to the tape and read it.
Pair work:(show some pictures)one Ss ask,the other answer.
Step4:extension(合作交流,延伸拓展)
Let’s play:find friends.(利用课前发给学生的单词卡连词成句)
Let’s sing:
小结:这节课我们学到了什么?我们和动物玩开心吗?动物是我们的朋友,我们要爱护她们。
Step 5:布置当堂作业
同桌之间一人表演动作,一人用动词ing形式描述Board Design(板书设计): Unit 5 Whose dog is it
