From middle school to college, I volunteered in many places. And I really feel happy as a volunteer. 21
For three years, I went to a primary school once a week to help a group of girls and boys with math, and sometimes English. 22 I can still remember the feeling of pride of being called a teacher and the look of joy on the children’s faces when they could work out math problems. Most of all, I was happy that they did very well in the math tests.
23 They liked to tell me their dreams or future plans. 24
Looking back at those days, I learned much more from the three years’ experience than I gave to the children. 25 Because I know it’ll bring me more happiness.
