教学目标
能听、说、读、写动词词组:wash the clothes, set the table, make the bed和do the dishes。
能听、说、认读词组“put away the clothes”和句子“Can you do housework? Yes, I can.”
能够说唱Let’s chant,巩固所学词组。
培养学生热爱劳动的好习惯。
教学重点、难点
重点:掌握有关家务劳动的五个动词词组。
难点:掌握四个四会动词词组,注意指导clothes的发音和拼写。
三、教学准备:相关课件,词卡,录音机,磁带。
四、教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up/ Revision
1. Let’s do. (PEP3 Unit 4 Part B Let’s do)
Sit on the sofa. Make the bed. Watch TV. Answer the phone. Open the fridge. Set the table. 学生边看flash边说边做相应的动作。
2. Free talk:
T: What can you do?
S: I can…
3. Let’s chant.
Cook, cook, cook, I can cook the meals.
Sweep, sweep, sweep, I can sweep the floor.
Clean, clean, clean, I can clean the bedroom.
Make, make, make, I can make the bed.
Set, set, set, I can set the table.
(在说说唱唱中复习已学内容,同时又为新授内容做好了铺垫,有利于新知的掌握与运用。)
Step 2: Presentation/ Practice
1. Let’s say
T: XX, XX, what can you do ?
S1: I can sweep, sweep the floor. XX, XX, what can you do ?
S2: I can ….

S: Miss Zhu, Miss Zhu, What can you do?
T: I can tell you a story. Look!
2. PPT出示改编的白雪公主与七个小矮人的故事:
SD: It’s our home. What can you do?
SW: I can sing and dance.
SD: Can you do housework?
SW: No, I can’t. But I’d like to have a try.
PPT出示Snow White尝试做的各种家务活。然后依次出现make the bed, wash the clothes, set the table, do the dishes, put away the clothes. 并依次询问学生:Can you …?引导学生回答Yes, I can.或No, I can’t. 同时板书这些四会词组,并指导朗读,重点指导clothes的发音及拼写。
在教授完wash the clothes后,PPT出示几张洗窗户,洗鞋子,洗袜子,洗水果,洗蔬菜的图片,让学生来练习句型:Can you …?
Yes, I can./ No, I can’t.
5. 最后PPT呈现一张Snow White在做家务活的图片:Look,I can do housework now.
6. Text learning.
T: Snow White is helpful at seven drawfs’ home. Are you helpful at your home?
Ss: Sure.
T: Great! Amy is helpful at her home, too. Let’s see what can she do?
……
7. Game: What’s missing?
学生先依次朗读新授词组,然后教师任意抽出一张,问:What’s missing? 学生抢答。
8. Group work.
学生以四人小组为单位进行游戏,一学生写人名,一学生写能干什么,另外两名学生做问答游戏:
S1:What can … do?
S2: He/She can …
S3: Can you …?
S4: Yes, I can./ No, I can’t.
(新授课中适当穿插一些寓教于乐的小游戏,能帮助学生记忆新词,掌握用法。)
Step3:Consolidation/ Extension
1. 教师指导学生做填空和问答游戏。

2. Let’s chant.
教师指导学生朗读Let’s chant部分的词组及句型,特别是No time to dance! / And there is more. / Oh, please!No more!
播放录音,学生跟读,并配以动作表演。
3. Homework.
(1) 抄写四会词组。
(2) 课后听Let’s learn和Let’s chant部分的录音。
(3) 学生小组间进行对话表演。
