Unit 8 What time do you get up
一、教学目标:
1、知识与技能目标
1)?学习本课单词:timetable; Chinese;;词组:half past one; get up; have breakfast; go to school; English class; come home.要求学生能熟练说出单词和词组。
2 )学习本课重点句型并能进行简单的交流,如:What’s the time, please?
What time do you ….? ; It’s half past___. I ___ at ___.来询问关于日常生活的话题,并能进行正确回答,并能利用所学句型描述学校生活。
(二)应用目标
1. 具体时间的表达。
2. 向同伴告知自己的作息时间。
3、能听懂、会说Part A部分的对话;
二、教学重、难点
1. 能正确听,说,认读本课新单词和词组:? half? past ___ ; get up; have breakfast; go to school; come home; go to bed; timetable
2. 理解并应用句型What’s the time, please? It’s…. What time do you ___ ? I …at….。
3. 难点:运用所学句型描述自己的学校生活介绍自己的timetable;
三、教学准备
教具准备:Indian头饰;单词卡片,PPT课件,彩色粉笔。
四、教学过程
Step 1 热身/复习(Warm-up/ Revision)
1. Greetings
T: 1).Class begins, I am Mr Peng, nice to meet you. How are you?
2). Look at here. Who is he? (学生看到PPT里面的印第安人)。
3). One Indian or two idians? OK, everybody stand up , Let’s sing and count how many Indians are there on TV? Do as I do! Everybody please take out your hands.
2. The song “Ten little Indians”.(借助歌谣活跃课堂气氛也复习数字的表达,为接下来教授时间的表达做铺垫)。
3. Revision: Count the numbers.(借助ppt) “how many indian?” 复习二十到六十的整数为下面时间的表达做铺垫。
4. 解释竞争机制。
Step 2 新课呈现(Presentation)
1. New words
1) 利用英语字谜导入 What has three hands but can’t hold?(clock).The answer is clock. 然后PPT出现一个整点的时间和一个半点的时间,引出新单词”half past one”.(带读)
2)(闹钟响起)T: Listen. The clock is ringing. What’s the time ,please? S: It's half past six. Oh! It’s time to get up. (引出句型get up)。播放课件(教师一边做起床动作一边带读单词板书单词)。小小操练(点组站起来带动作带读)。T: So I can say I get up at half past six.(引出句型 I ____ at ____.并板书) T: question! What time do you get up?(此时出示问句What time do you____?)
4)(PPT时钟的声音)T: what’s the time? S: It’s ___ . T: Oh, It’s time to go to school.(引出句型go to school,板书)。操练this group please read “go to school” one by one.T: So I can say I go to school at ____ .(重复句型 I ____ at ____.并板书)(然后再问一个同学what time do you 够同school)。
5)用差不多同样的方式引出词汇: have English class at 9:20 am; come home at 4:00 pm
2. 操练短语:
1) 带动作带读。
2) I point you read.
3)游戏巩固。(起立坐下)。T: Let’s play a game OK? Group1 you are ‘get up’. Group2 you are go to school. When I say go to school, group 2 please stand up as qickly as possible and read after me.
4)视力表T: I want to know that who has the best eyes.(点学生一个一个回答。认读新单词并加入have Chinese class; go to bed)。
(游戏可随时间来调整次数与方法)。
3. 完全展示各个动词短语和句子后
T: Look this is my timetable(引出timetable这个词,老师再把自己的timetable说一遍)。
1) Now I want to know your timetable. T: Hello, boy. Can I ask you some questions? What time do you ____ ?(问两个学生。)
4. 对话练习
1)T: now let’s do pair work, one student ask and one student answer. For example:老师播放已经剪切好的课文video,选取课文video中的两段演示What time do you___? I ____ at ___ 这个句型。 (两个问句,两个回答)。
5. 作业布置(Homework)
1. 读新单词。
2. 听磁带、读对话,并试着表演对话。
3. 背诵重点句型。
