1. What is your class
favourite 形容词，用于修饰名词，意为“最喜爱的”。
e.g. Danny’s favourite subject is English.

2. I have been sick for two days.
句子中for短语表示动作延续多长时间，for后面的宾语为时间段。在与for +时间段的句子中，一定用延续性动词，句子生病表示延续性的应该用be sick，所以用have been sick，不能用短暂性动词fall ill。如：
e.g. My son has been sick for a week.
我儿子已经生病一周了。
3. he doctor asked me to rest at home this week.
ask在这里意为“要求；请求”，ask sb. to do sth.意为“让某人去做某事”，其否定形式是ask sb. not to do sth.意为“让某人不去做某事”。常用短语ask for，意为“请求”。如：
e.g. He asked us to wait for him at the gate. 他叫我们在门口等他。
I asked them not to talk in class. 我让他们不要在课堂上说话。
