一、教学分析
学生分析
经过一年多的学习,四年级的学生已经掌握了一些基本的英语词汇,特别是经过三年级下册及本单元第三课的语言学习,学生已经接触并掌握了一些方位介词,这些为本课的英语学习做好了铺垫。
教材分析
本课是冀教版小学英语四年级下册第一单元的第五课,介绍了谈论某人或某物位置的词汇和句型,学生通过学习课文文本,理解和掌握方位介词的含义和使用方法。
二、教学目标
1、知识与技能目标
① 能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇:he, she, behind
② 能听懂、会说并认读介词短语:in front of
③ 能认读、理解并运用下列基本的句型结构:
----- Where is he/she
----- He/She is ……
2、学习策略目标
① 通过对课文文本的学习,理解和掌握方位介词的含义和使用方法。
② 通过师生、学生间的语言互动,理解描述事物所处位置的句型,并能熟练使用现在进行时描述正在进行中的动作。
3、情感态度目标
① 能正确理解文本,感受真实语言交际中灵活运用英语所带来的乐趣。
② 能积极与同伴合作,灵活运用本课语言知识围绕物体的位置创编对话。学会整理好自己的物品,养成良好的生活习惯。
三、教学重难点

2、教学难点:
能够理解并灵活运用句型Where is he/she 及所学过的方位介词来描述物体所处的位置。

五、教学过程:
Step1、Warming up.
1、Sing a song .
2、Greetings .
T : Hello ,everyone ! Nice to meet you . How are you today I love you . How do you feel Look , how’s the weather today What day is today Now, let’s new lesson ,Lesson 5 Where is Danny 并板书课题。
Step2 、Review
利用PPT和摆放的学习用具复习方位词:Where is ____ It’s___(on, in, under, between, beside)____.
Step3、Presentation and Practice

(教师活动)Talk about the pictures
(1)、教师利用课件呈现文本第一张图片来讲授新知。
T: Li Ming is playing a game with Danny.
They are playing hide and seek.
T: Where is Li Ming
S1: Li Ming is in front of the tree.
学生通过看图,理解并学习in front of(板书) ,反复进行实物(李明、丹妮、詹妮分别站在树的前面)和ppt图片操练。Team work1(2人小组合作训练)
T: Where is Li Ming/ Danny/ Jenny
S: Li Ming/ Danny/ Jenny is in front of the tree.
(2)教师利用课件呈现文本第二张图片来讲授新知。
学生通过看图,理解并学习behind (板书),及He is behind the tree.反复进行图片反复进行实物(李明、丹妮、詹妮分别站在树的前面)和实物操练。Team work2(2人小组合作训练)并展示活动结果。

2、Watch and Describe
教师呈现第二部分文本图片并询问:

S: Classroom.
T:Yes , Danny /He’s in the classroom. Where is Danny

S:He’s reading a book. (然后学生集体读课文。)

Step 3、Chant.活跃课堂气氛,调动学生积极性,对所学句型活学活用。

Step4、听课文录音2遍,完成PPT设疑的问题。
