One day, Arthur’s dad took him to ride horses in a forest. It was so peaceful and quiet and the brown rocks, the green pine trees, and the late afternoon sun mixed to create a magic scene. Arthur was having a rest under a tree when a little rabbit jumped out in front of him.

本写作任务要求续写幻想故事。幻想故事体裁上属于记叙文，情节的发展多以时间、地点的转移为线索。写幻想故事时，要展开丰富的想象，适当构思情节，并把故事情节写得生动有趣，同时要合乎逻辑。此外，续写文章时，要注意续写内容和原文的衔接。续写部分必须忠实于原文的中心、内容与形式。
本写作的人称以第三人称为主，时态以一般过去时为主。

因本写作的开头已给出，所以我们只需发挥想象，叙述故事的发展、高潮和结局即可。本文可分为三部分：
第一部分：故事的开始，交代故事的背景（已给出）；
第二部分：叙述故事的发展和高潮；
第三部分：故事的结局。

The rabbit was furry with a coat of gorgeous brown hair. Looking up at Arthur with its black eyes, it began to say, “Why not catch me and give me to your father He will be happy.” After saying that, it ran away. Arthur was so surprised to know the rabbit could even talk that he began to chase it. He didn’t give up until the rabbit got completely out of sight.
Feeling very tired, he decided to go back. However, he didn’t know where he was. He was walking aimlessly in the forest, filled with depression and regret when from behind a tree appeared the rabbit again, holding a pocket watch and saying “Time to wake up!”
Arthur opened his eyes, only to find his father lying beside him, talking in his sleep.
Write three or four paragraphs. Use past tenses and the –ing form of the verbs you have learnt in this module.
