阿伦·罗尔斯顿（Aron Ralston,1975年生），是一位美国登山家与演讲者。毕业于卡内基梅隆大学机械工程系，曾服务于英特尔公司。2002年他辞去工作，立志登遍科罗拉多州的高山。 一年后，他在犹他州攀登大峡谷时发生意外，其右前臂被巨石压住而动弹不得，不得已只好用一把小刀断臂求生。伤愈之后，阿伦决定将他这次非同寻常的经历用文字记录下来，着手构思回忆录的工作，取名《生死两难》（Between a Rock and a Hard Place）。 该书于2004年正式出版，详尽描述了阿伦断臂求生的真实经历，启迪读者思索人生中应当如何面对困难，揭示逆境中所需的勇气与果敢。
