课题：Colours
一、学情分析
本单元的教学对象为三年级学生，九至十岁的学生生性活泼好动，有着极强的求知欲，表现欲，他们模仿能力强，对表演、游戏、竞赛和画画等活动特别感兴趣。经过两年半的英语学习，他们对英语学习也具备初步的听、说、读，写技能。针对学生的现有知识储备及学龄特点，我们在教学中创设了生动有趣的语言场景和采用灵活多变的教学方法，以此激发学生的学习兴趣。
二、教材分析
本单元内容是Module 1 Using my five senses中Unit 1 Colours,重在引导学生通过视觉来学习颜色的相关单词，教师要引导学生通过歌曲、游戏以及各种活动，学会拼读并书写red, blue, yellow, green, black, white等颜色的单词，引导他们用What colour is… 询问事物的颜色。能用It’ s…（colour）描述事物的颜色。经过本单元的学习，孩子们学习观察和描述身边的事物，体会对五彩生活的热爱，并通过绘本故事的学习，进一步培养兴趣和自信心。
三、单元设计思路和依据
依据《小学英语课程标准》和低年级学生身心发展特点，本单元围绕主题“Colours”，共设计了五个课时，分别是Different colours、Colourful world、Magic colours、Colours in our life、Colours in book，通过学习生活中不同的颜色，了解七彩的世界，体会颜色的神奇混合功能以及绘本里有关颜色的有趣故事，让学生在不同活动和游戏中感知颜色，学会认读和拼写black、blue、green、red、white、yellow等六种颜色，并在情境中学会运用What colour is it It's...来询问物品颜色，了解多彩的世界。

五、单元教学目标
1. 语言知识目标：
◆ 能拼读并书写red, blue, yellow, green, black, white等颜色的单词。
◆ 能用What colour is… It’ s…（colour）询问和描述事物的颜色。
◆ 能用What’s the matter 对别人表示关心。
语言技能目标：
◆ 能运用基本句型表达事物颜色等特征，如：What colour is your ball It’s ….
◆ 能准确掌握核心词汇的发音，通过模仿，操练等活动，让学生能熟练运用所学语言知识，提高口语交际能力。
◆ 能通过图文，正确理解绘本故事，并用所学语言复述或者表演故事。
学习策略目标：
◆ 在学习中,养成认真倾听和自主学习的好习惯。
◆ 学会阅读绘本故事的基本技巧和方法。
情感态度目标：
◆通过歌曲、游戏以及各种活动，体会到学习英语的乐趣。
◆通过故事的学习，进一步培养孩子的自信心。
第五课时
课时话题：Period 5 Colours and feelings
教学内容：绘本Colours and feelings
教学目标：1. 能理解故事大意，理解并辨识happy, angry, scared, sad等情绪词汇。
能初步掌握读图预测、关键词复述等绘本阅读方法。
能感知不同的情绪特征，用适当的颜色来形容它们，并进行拓展联想。
教学重点：正确使用What colour is…？It’s ...来形容不同情绪所对应的色彩并复述故事。
教学难点：绘本故事中出现的一些学生不熟悉的短语可能会引起对故事理解的困难，如break my toy, go into a dark cave等，可以充分利用绘本的特点，引导学生一边观察图片一边阅读文字，通过图片信息对阅读困难的部分进行猜测理解。
教学过程：

Let the students do the matching practise. Let’s complete: Let the students practise asking and answering about different feelings and their colours. e.g. What colour is happy --It is pink. Let’s read aloud: Lead the students to read the whole story aloud.
新知巩固与活用 读后在关键词的图片信息辅助下复述故事，进行有意义的语言输出练习。 Let’s retell: Show the pictures with some key words and phrases. Let the students retell the story by themselves.
作业布置及提交 巩固本节课所学，在所学的基础上进行拓展与联想，发展思维能力。 Retell the story to your parents and friends. Make a Mind Map of the story. Think of more feelings we have. Draw and tell about them. e.g. My family go to the beach. I feel excited. What colour is excited It’s orange.
