教学目标 France is an European country. Students are a little strange to it. I hope through the learning of this lesson, students can know this beautiful country well. Students need to know its places of interest, its nice food, its people and so on. Students also should read the passage fluently and know the new words well.
教学重点难点 Knowing about France, its places of interest,its nice food,its people and so on. New words and phrases, Western Europe, capital, the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Elysees, etc. Read the passage fluently.
教学过程 Getting ready The teacher talks about travelling with students. Play a game of matching countries and capitals. Then mainly talk about France. Knowing about France The teacher shows many beautiful pictures of France and their introductions to students. Reading Read the title of the passage. Guess the meaning of "calling". Read the first paragraph. The teacher shows a diagram of this passage to students. Summarize the contents of the first paragragh.(location and description of France.) Fill in the blanks through reading the second paragragh. Read the third paragragh carefully and answer the questions below. Read the fourth paragragh carefully and answer the questions below. Homework Write an article. “______ is calling” Retell the passage in groups.
