Revision and lead in Let some students to introduce themselves and talk about their abilities. Step 2 :2a Let ss read the three descriptions about Peter, Alan and Ma Huan. Underline what they can do. Let ss answer the questions .Then check the answers. Let ss read again and find out what they can not understand. Then the teacher write down also, people, home, be good with, make ,make friends, today, help with sth, center ,weekend, on the weekend, teach. Ask the students to read after the teacher. At last ask the ss repeat the text after the teacher. Step 3. Practice Let ss talk about themselves in English like the three descriptions. Step 4 Reading Have ss read the ads,and match the titles with the ads. Ask them which ads they want take and why. Help students to answer using the can sentences. Then have students translate the difficulties and importance of the text . Step5. Practice. Let ss read after the teacher explain the difficulties in group or have a PK.
