课题：四年级下册第三单元 Look and see
一、学情分析
四年级的学生对自然界充满好好奇心。经过三年的英语学习已具备了能正确模仿发音、拼读单词、认读简单的词组、句型的能力，并渐渐形成学习英语的兴趣。在学习本单元之前，学生积累了一定的词汇和句型，并能运用部分常见的句型来进行表达和交流。四年级的孩子具有一定的分析，判断能力，能进行简单地推理和探究。
二、教材分析
本单元是四年级下册第一模块Using my five senses中的第三个单元，本单元的教学主题是Look and see，通过描述和观察一天中不同时候太阳的位置和影子的长短, 引导学生学习相关语言知识，学会描述不同时间段太阳和影子的变化。
三、单元设计思路和依据
根据单元内容及学生认知规律，我们对整个单元进行了统整。从学生的角度出发，以学生认识影子-影子的变化-和影子做游戏-学习影子文化为主线设计了4个课时，每个课时之间层层递进，相互关联，在学习语言的过程中鼓励学生思考和探究，最终促使学生完成语言学习的同时达到语用输出和文化渗透。

学生能在情境中学习文本，综合运用本单元的文本。

学生能理解影子变长变短，变大变小的原因并尝试表达出来。
