本课是PEP教材三年级下册Unit 1 Welcome back to school!
本单元共6课时,本课是第5课时,
【设计理念】
以言语交际为中心,借助现代信息技术,努力为学生创设理想的英语学习环境,渗透任务型教学,能让学生把所学的内容联系实际,在生活中运用,提供丰富的网络资源,倡导体验、实践、参与、交流与合作的学习方式。
【教学目标】
1.能询问别人的国籍以及回答,并在实际情景中自然运用。
2.能够在情景对话中理解she, student的意思。
3.进一步认识国旗以及各国代表性动物,加深对国家名称的记忆。
4.简单了解各国文化。
【教学重点和难点】
教学重点:能够在实际情景中正确运用句型“Where are you from I’m from…”来询问和回答国籍。
教学难点:单词Australia的发音。

【教学反思】
本课时在学习各个国家称呼的基础上,教师利用国旗很自然地引出了本课时重点句型“Where are you from I’m from…”, 并利用新句型引出新的一个国旗,达到过渡自然、循序渐进的效果。另外,对话表演、创设一个真实自然的英语学习场景,突出了语言的交际功能以及语言应用的基本原则,打破了传统的课堂管理教学模式。教师创设情境,通过自己亲身实践让学生明白重点句型的运用情景,将英语课堂的学习直接带入实践活动中去,符合新课标的标准和要求。
