Lesson 7 Arriving in Beijing 教学设计
一、教材分析:
本单元的句型主要是围绕着Danny一行人去北京的所见所闻而编排。这一课的内容是现在进行时态人称的复数句型。对于五年级的学生来说,难度在不断地提升,所以我采取学生喜闻乐见的情景,帮助学生理解,让更多的学生参与到课堂活动中来,获取知识。
二、学情分析:
五年级的学生已经具备了一些听说读写能力,初步掌握了现在进行时结构。本课在此基础上继续学习主语是复数的现在进行时。因此,我设计了不同类型的练习,让每个学生都参与到活动中来。通过学生间的合作来降低学习难度,使各层次的学生都有收获。
三、教学重点:使学生掌握单词:men , women , children , people
四、教学难点:能熟练运用现在进行时态和名词复数表达.
五、教学准备:PPT课件,教学录音,图片
六、教学过程:

T: Ok, today we will learn Lesson 7 Arriving in Beijing . ( 板书课题Arriving in Beijing )
【设计意图:通过课前师生间亲切交流,简单的情景对话,引出本课的课题,让学生集中注意力,尽快参与到课堂活动中来。】
Step 2 New concept :
1、Show learning aims.
OK! Next,Let’s look at the learning aims .1、listen ,say , read and write:men、women、children、people . 2、能正确熟练运用现在进行时态和名词复数的表达。(让学生明确本节课的学习内容。)
Revision.利用开火车的形式复习已学过的一些名词的复数形式。
Learn key words
(1)T:(出示man、men的图片)Oh,Whan's this
Ss:This is a man. (领读man)
T:Oh,I can see DingDong . a man .a man .a man. These are men . (师领读man —men,板书“man men”)
(2)T:(出示woman、women的图片)What’s this
Ss: This is a woman .(生齐说)
T: These are women,(师领读woman--women,板书“woman women”)
(3)T:(出示child、children的图片) Who is she
Ss: She is a girl. A girl is a child .
T: This is a child .(学生跟读)指着男生、女生A boy is a child.A girl is a child .Boys and girls are children .引出children .(师领读child--children,板书“child children”)
(4)T:(出示图片men,women children )who
S1: They are men .
S2: They are women .
S3: They are children .
T: Men, women and children are people. (学习单词people)(学生跟读,教师随机指名读。)
(5)Let’s say .
T:I say “man”, you say “men ” I say “men”, you say “man ”(同桌互练,在师生互练)
【设计意图:在学习单词的过程中,通过师生练,生生练等练习方式,既巩固了四会单词的正确发音,又调动了学生的学习兴趣。】
总结不规则名词单数变为复数的规律

(出示韵律歌:单数变为复数式,少数名词不规则。Boy 、girl 加“s”,man、woman “a”变“e”,child 后加“ren、ren”,people的复数是原形。)
【设计意图:利用板书让学生说一说本课四会单词单数和复数之间的转换规律。通过韵律歌让学生快速准确掌握单数变复数的规律。】

练习主语是复数的现在进行时:如,Some children are playing basketball./Some men are doing Tai Chi./Some women are dancing …(用不同的方法练读句型)
(1)小组合作“Talking in group”;出示四幅图片,小组内互问互答。找生表演情景对话。
(2)Do and talk .学生自己动手操作,其他同学回答。
【设计意图:小组练习增加了学生开口说英语的机会,也利于生生之间的互相交流,共同进步。】
6、Learn part 1.

学习课文,利用畅言通教学软件范读课文。(Please open your book turn to page twenty . Children ,listen carefully)
(2)听师在朗读课文,在由小组合作学习朗读课文并解决问题。.
(3)找生回答问题。
【设计意图:让学生模仿纯正的发音,提高学生的英语素养。进一步培养学生之间的合作意识,充分体现了学生的主体地位。】

围绕本节课的重难点设计练习,检测学生对复数名词的不规则变化及主语是复数的现在进行时的掌握情况。
【设计意图: 培养学生的应试能力,考验学生的答题速度,进一步考察学生对教学重难点的掌握程度。】
