Chapter four a new newspaper
Chapter material analysis
Some students Grade Eight students at Mayfield School wanted to publish a newspaper. They held a meeting. This topic is about this meeting.
The listening task is a proof-reading exercise. Students must listen to the recording, which contains the correct version and correct the mistake in the written version.
In language section, which contain modal verbs. We should help students review it and let them learn ‘ought to’.
In writing section. Give the students a usual revision of the simple present, simple past and simple future tenses.
Learner’s analysis
In reading section. Passive voice is difficult for students. They grip difficultly it.
In listening section. Spelling is more difficult than listening. The students must listen carefully and grasp quickly.
