一、教材分析
It is the first period of unit 5 of Oxford English. It is a typical reading to get information. It mainly talks about where water comes from and lets students know water is very important. And what we can do to save water.
二、学生分析
All of the students are the seventh-graders. They are very familiar with water, but they may not know where water comes from. And water is valuable Some of the students are good at English, but some of them are not good at English. I just want all of my students can have a chance to enjoy English.
三、教学目标
1. Students can know how water comes into our house. 2. Develop the reading ability and speaking skills. 3. To train students’ reading skill---summary skinning and scanning. 4. To make students be aware of helping those in need.

Step1 Warming-up A video named a drop of water To know three forms of water
Step2 Pre-reading Some pictures To know water is valuable
Step3 Do a quiz about water. To Get more things about water
Step4 While reading Task1 show students a picture to let them have a clear understanding of where water comes from. To know where water comes from
Step5 After reading How to summary P1 Dora is brushing her teeth with the tap on. P2-3 The water tells Dora to turn the tap off, and she is surprised P4-13 The water tells Dora about its long journey from a cloud and where it will go. It reminds her not to waste or pollute water. P14 Dora turned the tap off and came out of the bathroom. How to summary

六 课后小结 学生学习兴趣浓,能够顺利地进行对话,并能积极提供帮助.上完课,和学生交流以及检测中就能看出来,学生对文章的深入理解还不够。我觉得很有必要通过各种途径方式让学生充分了解语境的创设。这样可以更好的和学生相联系.上课学生就会更加主动,课堂气氛会更加活跃。当然,自己还要不断加强学习,深挖探究教材,研究学生,熟练掌握课件的制作和应用,不断提高自己驾驭课堂的能力。 七 教学反思 本节课是阅读课的第一课时,以一个短视频一滴水的故事作为导入创设情境,激发学生脑海中已有知识. 新授课以水在日常生活中以及工业农业中的用途作为切入点,而后孩子们总结出水是非常珍贵的,之后世界水日是作为一个补充内容来进一步加强和巩固水的重要性,随之阅读文章.阅读文章之后设置两个难度递加的练习,第一是了解水的循环,第二个练习是教会学生在阅读中根据文中联系划分部分并总结大意。整体课堂效果很不错,但是在习题部分创设略难. 部分孩子对于如何去划分并总结大意方面欠缺。总之上课要以学生的认知为基点这样上课学生就会更加主动,课堂气氛会更加活跃。当然,自己还要不断加强学习,深挖探究教材,研究学生,熟练掌握课件的制作和应用,不断提高自己驾驭课堂的能力。
