本课时主要学习了几对表示比较级的反义词“younger和older, taller和shorter, shorter 和longer”,并将这些词语运用到了日常的口语交际中。 教师在教授单词时,可将单词的正反义结合,并通过反复强化训练来掌握比较级。最后通过询问身高,来强化训练“How tall are you I’m …metres. ” 让学生在日常交际中学会问答身高,学会进行比较。
